No. Bradley Counseling provides counseling and mental health support for children, teens, adults, couples, older adults, and families throughout Lake County. Our therapists work with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, relationship challenges, grief, behavioral concerns, and life transitions.

Q: What types of engagement and education do you provide?

We offer monthly 'Partnering with Parents' workshops, professional CEs/CEUs for licensed clinicians (though all mental health workers seeking learning experiences are welcome), and custom mental health trainings for local organizations. We also attend community events like career days, resource fairs, and festivals as exhibitors to provide community-based mental health support.

Q: Are your workshops and educational events free?

Yes. Many of our community workshops and educational events, including our Partnering with Parents series, are offered free to community members. Sessions may be available in person or virtually and are designed to provide approachable, evidence-based mental health education and support.

Q: How do I request a training or an exhibitor for my event?

For community trainings or to invite us to your next wellness fair, contact our front office at 847-356-3322. They will connect you with our Community Engagement Team, who will return your call within 24 hours. Workshops, Outreach, and Professional Development

Parenting Workshops (Partnering with Parents)

We offer "Partnering with Parents" workshops monthly during the school year. These sessions are FREE and accessible both in person and virtually. They cover vital topics like tackling summer boredom, managing school-year stress, and building stronger family connections. Professional Mental Health Training (CEs & CEUs)

Allendale is an approved sponsor by the American Psychological Association (APA) to provide Continuing Education credits (CEs) for Clinical Psychologists*. Allendale is also approved by the state of Illinois to provide Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for Social Workers and LCPCs. While licensed clinicians will receive credits, all mental health workers are welcome to attend and learn about various topics. We maintain a high standard of professional development, awarding CEs/CEUs to clinicians looking to expand their expertise in trauma-informed care, family systems, emotional wellness, evidence-based treatment interventions, and other important mental health topics affecting children, teens, adults, couples, and families.

Community Outreach and Exhibitions

Bradley Counseling is a frequent presence at Lake County wellness fairs, resource nights, school events, community programs, and local outreach initiatives. We’re available to attend events as an exhibitor or resource partner to help connect individuals and families with supportive mental health resources and services.
